Taylor

Taylor Swift has become a uncommon pop sensation: A celebrity who has strayed from traditional music into pop culture and became a pop icon that will be around forever, and will conquer every corner of the globe. Swift left country music like it was a second layer of herself, proving that she's possibly the best pop-singer/songwriter in her generation. One who can harness the mood of times to make her music personal, and sing in the other direction. These skills were evident on her earliest hits especially the Neo-tribute Tim McGraw but her second album in 2008's Fearless showed a writer discovering her true identity and, in doing so, gaining a mass audience. Fearless went on to become a global hit and not just in North America (where it was certified with six platinum awards for Top Ten Hits Love Story and "You Belong with Me") as well as in Canada Australia and the U.K. as well as other nations. The Swift's Speak Now album released two years ago, consolidated her prior successes, propelling her into superstardom. The three subsequent albums -- Red 2012 1989 2014, and Reputation 2017, her success only grew. That was an obvious sign she had moved to an entirely new world of pop that she could be part of. Her name was always at the top of pop until she reverted to her style with her sibling albums folklore & Evermore in the year 2020.
