Anna Maria Parisse, her great grandmother, and the name of her mother has given her the stage name. Annie Parisse married actor Paul Sparks after a long-term relationship in 2005. The couple got married in October of 2009 they welcomed their daughter and they have a son. The two brothers of Annie are Louis Cancelmi, an actor (married to Elisabeth Waterston), and Michael Cancelmi, a teacher of Italian. Annie began acting at the age of college. She would participate in dramas and play. On The Q.T. was her first major screen role. She was in 1999 on the character in the movie as Wendy and was a lesser-known role.
